On Saturday evening, the senior members of the British royal family gathered at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance. This year, the event was even more special than usual, as it commemorated the end of World War I a century ago.

All of the women of the royal family wore jewels suitable for an occasion of memorial and remembrance. The Queen wore the pearl and diamond cluster earrings from Queen Alexandra’s Wedding Gift Parure, pairing them with a double strand of pearls. She used Queen Mary’s Richmond Brooch, the same one she wore to the Sussex wedding this May, to secure her poppies.
