10. Modern pearl drop earrings and a gorgeous floral brooch adorned Crown Princess Masako on January 2 as the imperial family extended New Year’s greetings to the public in Tokyo.

9. Empress Michiko chose pearls and a gorgeous brooch with a bright blue gemstone for the New Year appearance on the palace balcony.
