Summer holidays are coming to a close, which means the European royals are back in action! Here’s a look at jewelry worn on two occasions this week by Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians.

On Saturday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima joined King Philippe and Queen Mathilde in Terneuzen to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands in Zeeland.

Maxima wore an exuberant pair of tassel earrings for the event, as well as a pin in the shape of the Torch of Freedom, a symbol of remembrance and liberation.

On Wednesday, Maxima headed to Beltrum for a visit to a Green Mineral Plant, an example of circular agriculture in the region.
