Leonor, who is next in line to become Spain’s monarch, wore pale pink for the occasion. She turns fourteen in two weeks. Her younger sister, twelve-year-old Sofia, wore light blue.

After the parade, King Felipe and Queen Letizia headed inside the Royal Palace in Madrid for a reception.

Felipe changed out of his uniform into a business suit for the reception, but Letizia wore the same pale pink dress and accessories for both events.

With her butterfly-festooned dress, she wore a pair of large button earrings. The pair features a smooth, pale pink stone set in a double cluster of diamonds.

Letizia has worn the earrings on previous occasions. One notable outing came in February 2017, when she wore them for an official luncheon at Zarzuela Palace with the President and First Lady of Argentina.

The earrings were also previously worn by Letizia’s mother-in-law, Queen Sofia. In the photo above, she wears the earrings during the 2008 state visit to Japan.

Letizia’s other major accessory for National Day was her golden ring, which she’s been wearing quite regularly on her left hand.
