On Monday, William and Kate touched down at Kur Khan airbase to kick off their tour. Most of Kate’s wardrobe for this tour so far has been inspired by traditional Pakistani dress, especially the salwar kameez (the familiar long tunic and slim trousers).

With her light blue outfit, Kate wore a pair of affordable beaded earrings from Zeen, a Pakistani brand.

Here’s another look at the earrings. Zeen, interestingly, is the newer women’s line of a clothing company called Cambridge, which has been producing men’s apparel in Pakistan since the 1970s.

On Tuesday, William and Kate visited Margallah Hills National Park in Islamabad, where they attended a gathering of children from three different schools taking part in a number of activities to show Pakistan’s effort to meet sustainable development goals. A school visit was also part of the program.

Kate again wore a tunic and trousers inspired by Pakistani’s national dress. This time, she also added a traditional scarf, the dupatta, draped over her shoulder.

Throughout the visit, Kate has also worn her usual trio of rings: her sapphire and diamond engagement ring, her gold wedding band, and her diamond eternity band.

Later on Tuesday, the Cambridges headed to the official residence of Pakistan’s prime minister, Imran Khan, in Islamabad. Khan, who gained international fame as a world-class cricket player, was a friend of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Kate again wore a variation of the trousers-and-tunic look, this time with a green jacket in one of her favored silhouettes. Another dupatta was also draped over her shoulder.

Kate chose another pair of earrings from Zeen for the occasion, this time with beads in shades of green.

This was a second outing for the earrings. Kate wore them a few weeks ago for a visit to the Aga Khan Centre in London, which was part of the lead-up to this tour.

On Tuesday evening, William and Kate attended their first evening reception of the tour. The special reception was hosted by the British High Commissioner Thomas Drew at the gorgeous Pakistan National Monument in Islamabad.

Kate’s green Jenny Packham dress was again inspired by elements of traditional Pakistani clothing.

The sequined dress dazzled on its own, but Kate added a little extra sparkle with a pair of custom statement earrings made for her by O’nitaa, a London-based retailer that specializes in luxury couture styles from India and Pakistan.

Usually Kate is the Cambridge in the sartorial spotlight, but William ultimately stole the fashion show on Tuesday evening. He stepped out of his usual evening wear comfort zone, donning a traditional sherwani for the reception.
