This diamond honeysuckle tiara, which can be worn with a set of interchangeable center stones, was commissioned by Queen Mary in 1914. She gave the tiara to her daughter-in-law, Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester, as a wedding present in 1935. Today, it’s worn by Alice’s daughter-in-law, the present Duchess of Gloucester. Can its classic design and versatile stones help it triumph?

Simple and delicate, this tiara is a textbook example of the traditional diamond fringe. The tiara was a wedding gift from the City of London to Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent in 1934. It’s since been worn by several Kent family brides, including Lady Gabriella Windsor. Few tiara designs are more classic than the diamond fringe, which could help bring home a victory for this sparkler!
Our next tiara tournament match will be at midnight CDT — look out for a Cinderella!
