This charming diamond and pearl tiara, made in the 1920s, originally belonged to the Queen Mother. It later became one of Princess Margaret’s signature pieces, and now it’s worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. Its delicate design and gorgeous Egyptian-inspired motifs make it a major contender for a title.

Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara

This delicate diamond festoon tiara was given to the Princess Royal in 1973 when she christened a ship. (Not a bad thank-you present!) It’s intricate and pretty, which made it a perfect wedding tiara for Anne’s daughter-in-law in 2008.

This balanced, classic tiara is the overall number one seed in our tournament. Given by a committee of women to Queen Mary as a wedding present in 1893, the diamond tiara has a rich history as well as a beautiful design, making it a perennial favorite for tiara lovers.

Queen Mary’s Honeysuckle Tiara

This diamond honeysuckle tiara, which can be worn with a set of interchangeable center stones, was commissioned by Queen Mary in 1914. She gave the tiara to her daughter-in-law, Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester, as a wedding present in 1935. Today, it’s worn by Alice’s daughter-in-law, the present Duchess of Gloucester.

Queen Alexandra’s Kokoshnik vs. The Burmese Ruby Tiara

No surprises here — the Wall of Diamonds handily defeated the Queen’s most unpopular tiara in this match-up. The Burmese Ruby Tiara squeaked out 22.25% of the vote, but Queen Alexandra’s Kokoshnik triumphed with 77.75%!

The Kent Pearl Festoon Tiara vs. Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau

Our first upset of the tournament (if you can really call a five seed defeating a four seed an upset!) came in this contest. Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau took 61.32% of the vote, while the Kent Pearl Festoon Tiara commanded 38.68%.

Princess Andrew’s Meander Bandeau vs. The Brazilian Aquamarine Tiara

In this battle of sleek vs. spectacular, the sentimental family tiara prevailed. While the Brazilian Aquamarine Tiara brought in 26.28% of the vote, Princess Andrew’s Meander Bandeau won over 76.72% of you!

The Iveagh Tiara vs. The Ogilvy Tiara

In this battle of the Gloucesters and the Kents, the heirloom won the day. While the Ogilvy Tiara claimed a healthy 30.44% of the vote, it was the Iveagh Tiara that triumphed with 69.56% of the vote!

The Greville Tiara vs. The Wessex Wedding Tiara

No Cinderellas in this tournament so far! The number one seed, the Greville Tiara, danced away with the victory in this contest, taking 85.91% of the vote to the Wessex Wedding Tiara’s 14.09%.

The Oriental Circlet vs. The Teck Turquoise Tiara

In this fierce battle between Prince Albert and Queen Mary, the Prince Consort prevailed! While the Teck Turquoise Tiara took 44.01% of the vote, the close contest was won by the Oriental Circlet with 55.99%!

Queen Mary’s Russian Bandeau vs. The Cartier Halo Tiara

Two tiaras from Princess Margaret’s jewelry box faced off in this match-up. Even with its royal wedding experience, the Cartier Halo Tiara fell, taking 43.94% of the vote to the 56.06% won by Queen Mary’s Russian Bandeau!

The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik vs. The Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara

Our most lopsided match-up turned out to be this one! The Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara only managed to pull in 12.3% of the vote, and the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik won over a whopping 87.7% of you!
