This year has been one of the strangest and most challenging that many of us have ever lived through. This holiday season, I’ve been reflecting on the gifts I’ve been given in the midst of all of it. I have been blessed in so many ways, with a wonderful family and a happy home, but one of the greatest gifts I have received in 2020 has been the dedication of the wonderful readers who have continued to visit The Court Jeweller each day.

One of my missions when I launched this website in January 2014 was to bring a little sparkle—and a little history—into the lives of readers every day of the year. Through the years, I’ve heard from so many of you who have found comfort and beauty in the routine of visiting the site daily to marvel at the beautiful pieces of jewelry that we feature and discuss here. This year has certainly been no different, and I’ve been humbled time and again by the stories I’ve heard from readers who have used The Court Jeweller as a little place of respite and happiness in dark times.

I am so grateful to have been able to be a bright spot in many of your lives for the past seven years, and I’m excited to see the good things that the future promises for all of us.
