10. For the Place2Be School Leaders Forum in London on Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her Mappin and Webb Empress Earrings. (More over here!)

9. At the beginning of this week’s Israeli state visit to Spain, Queen Letizia wore new earrings set with purple and green stones for a lunch honoring President and Mrs. Rivlin at Zarzuela Palace.

8. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians have been state-visiting in India this week. Mathilde wore her pale pink gem drop earrings for a ceremonial reception at the Indian Presidential Palace in New Delhi on Tuesday.

For the return dinner during the Israeli state visit, Queen Letizia of Spain wore a pair of diamond earrings with major family status.

These are the diamond cluster earrings from the joyas de pasar, the collection of jewels from Queen Ena that are now designated for the use of Spanish queens. (More on the joyas over here!)

Letizia has really been digging in to the joyas collection this year, starting off with the Argentine state visit in February (pictured above). It’s so great to see these pieces getting so much use!

State Dinner Jewels in Spain

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and his wife, Nechama Rivlin, for a state dinner in Madrid on Monday evening. Here’s a look at Letizia’s sparkling jewels for the evening.

Letizia wore full gala jewels for the white-tie dinner, including a tiara.

Letizia selected the Spanish Floral Tiara, a nineteenth-century tiara from the collection of her mother-in-law, Queen Sofia. (Read more about the tiara over here!)

She paired the tiara with earrings that also come from Queen Sofia’s jewelry box: the long diamond and pearl drop earrings.
