Summery Spanish Royal Jewels

It’s August, which means that most of the royals are on their summer holidays — which means that we’ll only do a full weekly roundup every other Friday. In the meantime, here’s a look at the jewels that the Spanish royals have been wearing this week during their summer residence in Palma de Mallorca.

On Sunday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia posed with their daughters, Leonor and Sofia, for photographers during the annual summer photocall at the Marivent Palace.

Letizia wore teeny earrings in the shape of a dragonfly for the photo session. If I’m not mistaken, these appear to be the same earrings that Leonor wore a few days earlier for the Copa del Rey. (You can see them in last week’s review post!)

Letizia also wore her gold oval ring on her left hand.

Leonor wore a pair of classic gold hoop earrings for the photocall.

On Wednesday evening, Queen Sofia joined Felipe and Letizia at Almudaina Palace for a dinner for local authorities.

This time, it was Letizia’s turn to wear classic gold hoop earrings. (These look to be a different, larger pair than the ones worn by Leonor earlier in the week.)

Her ring was visible again on her left hand. Letizia rarely wears rings, but this one has become a more frequent sight on her hand in recent months.

Sofia wore her signature layered jewels for the dinner, including starfish earrings, gold necklaces, and a long beaded necklace with a star pendant.

She also wore bracelets on both wrists.

Leonor and Sofia joined Felipe and Letizia again on Thursday for a visit to the Son Marroig museum and estate in Deia.
