Which sparkler will triumph in our final contest of the week?

This sparkler, which is owned by the grand ducal family of Luxembourg and likely dates to the 1820s, is a massive diamond fortress of a tiara. Because of its size, the all-diamond tiara has plenty of room for the incorporation of numerous motifs, including geometric, anthemion, and scroll designs. The tiara is reserved for the use of the grand duchess, and it’s currently worn by Grand Duchess Maria Teresa.

This delicate tiara was made around 1910, but it didn’t arrive in Norway until 2001. That year, King Harald V and Queen Sonja purchased it as a wedding gift for their new daughter-in-law, Crown Princess Mette-Marit. She wore it on her wedding day, and it has been her favorite tiara in the almost two decades that have elapsed since. The sleek diamond sparkler is an excellent complement to Mette-Marit’s cool Nordic style.
