Today, I’m giving thanks for diamond leaves and sunray sparklers!

This lovely diamond tiara includes natural elements, like leaf and berry motifs, in its design. Made in the second half of the nineteenth century, it is now worn by the women of Luxembourg’s grand ducal family. Five Nassau brides, including Princess Claire, have also chosen the romantic tiara as a bridal diadem.

This classic diamond sunray tiara came to Stockholm with Queen Victoria of Sweden. She received it as a wedding present from her parents, Grand Duke Friedrich and Grand Duchess Luise of Baden, in 1881. The convertible tiara can also be worn as a necklace. It’s been worn by numerous Swedish royal women, including Queen Silvia, but today, it’s most associated with Crown Princess Victoria.
