This classic diamond floral tiara was made using a brooch that belonged to Queen Alexandrine of Denmark. In the 1960s, Queen Ingrid had the brooch supplemented with additional gemstones to form an eighteenth-birthday-gift tiara for her second daughter, Princess Benedikte. (The brooch is also still detachable.) Benedikte has worn the tiara throughout her life, and she’s also loaned it to her daughters, Princess Alexandra and Princess Nathalie.

Two Japanese crown princesses — Empress Michiko and Empress Masako — have worn this tiara on their wedding days. The impressive diamond scroll and ribbon tiara is part of a mirrored parure that includes a coordinating necklace. Today, the tiara is worn by Crown Princess Kiko.

This incredible tiara, which belongs to Queen Saleha of Brunei, is one of the most impressive sparklers in her extensive jewelry collection. The tiara features clusters of pear-shaped diamonds, including one large pear-shaped stone as its centerpiece. In 2004, Queen Saleha wore the tiara for the wedding of her son, the Crown Prince of Brunei.

This one’s a battle of diamond sparklers made by Koch!

This towering diamond tiara, which features tall diamond fringe pieces interspersed with much smaller diamond spikes, was made by Koch for the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg family in 1905. The tiara, which can also be worn as a necklace, entered the royal world when Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg married Princess Benedikte of Denmark. She’s still wearing the sparkler at royal events in Denmark today.

The jewelers at Koch made this neoclassical tiara for Princess Viktoria Luise, the only daughter of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, in 1913. The miniature diamond and platinum kokoshnik features laurel wreaths, columns, and a meander base. Viktoria Luise’s daughter, Friederike, brought the tiara with her to Greece; her daughter, Sofia, brought it to Spain. It’s been used twice as a bridal diadem, most recently by Queen Letizia.
