We’ve got a winner in our first-ever Tournament of Brooches!

It’s a brooch that came from one of the largest diamonds in the world…

…with a center stone measuring more than 18 carats…

…was worn by one of the greatest royal jewel-lovers of all time…

…and has become a very favorite brooch of the present Queen…

…it’s the Cullinan V Brooch!

Congrats to this classic royal brooch, which narrowly triumphed over one of its siblings in our final contest! The Five won 1,981 (53.2%) of your votes. while the Three and Four brought in 1,743 (46.8%) of the votes. This was a close one the entire time!

Thanks so much to everyone who played along with our brooch tournament. But never fear, fans of jewelry competition and voting: I’m launching a third version of our tournaments tomorrow morning!
