After the Queen Mother inherited this diamond honeycomb tiara from Mrs. Greville in the 1940s, it swiftly became one of her signature pieces. Today, the same is true of its current wearer, the Duchess of Cornwall, who has both the presence and the hair to carry off such a major tiara.

This grand Dutch royal tiara dates to 1897, but the biggest diamond in it, the forty-carat Stuart Diamond, has been in royal hands since the seventeenth century. The sparkler was a favorite of the late Queen Juliana, and in recent years, Queen Maxima has begun wearing in public, too.
