This delicate diamond festoon tiara was given to the Princess Royal in 1973 when she christened a ship. (Not a bad thank-you present!) It’s intricate and pretty, which made it a perfect wedding tiara for Anne’s daughter-in-law in 2008.

This grand Dutch royal tiara dates to 1897, but the biggest diamond in it, the forty-carat Stuart Diamond, has been in royal hands since the seventeenth century. The sparkler was a favorite of the late Queen Juliana, and in recent years, Queen Maxima has begun wearing in public, too.
