Princess Martha Louise of Norway in the Norwegian Amethyst Parure Tiara!

Princess Martha Louise gave the family’s convertible amethyst tiara its best gala outing to date at this royal wedding. It’s not one of her usual diadems — the tiara is more regularly worn by her sister-in-law, Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

Here’s a close-up of the tiara from this wedding, where you can see that the wrap around the base is meant for a person with lighter hair (like Mette-Marit). No bother, though — the hairstyle Martha Louise chose camouflaged the base of the tiara entirely, and also managed to provide a gorgeous background for the tiara itself.
