Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara vs. The Teck Crescent Tiara

This delicate diamond festoon tiara was given to the Princess Royal in 1973 when she christened a ship. (Not a bad thank-you present!) It’s intricate and pretty, which made it a perfect wedding tiara for Anne’s daughter-in-law in 2008. Will its romantic design carry it to victory?
It’s been almost a century since we’ve seen a British royal wear this tiara, but we know it’s currently on loan to the Duchess of Cornwall. Made in the nineteenth century, the diamond sparkler combines rose and crescent elements that belonged to Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester (a daughter of King George III!). Can this hidden royal sparkler cause a tiara upset?
Stop by later this afternoon for our third tiara tournament game of the day!
