Members of the royal family have been attending the annual event since Queen Victoria and Prince Albert bought Balmoral in the 1840s. The games are held at a venue named after a pair of Edwardian royals: The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park.

To mark her Golden Jubilee in 2002, the Braemar Royal Highland Society presented the Queen with a special eagle’s feather brooch. She has worn the Braemar Feather Brooch, which is made of white and yellow gold, silver, and platinum, every year for the event since she received it.

Camilla wore the Minoru Brooch, which has connections to King Edward VII and his horse-racing enterprise. You can read more about it over here!

Also on hand for this year’s games were two members of Princess Anne’s family: her son, Peter Phillips, and his wife, Autumn.

Autumn is consistently one of the most elegant members of the extended Windsor family, and she looked very chic for her attendance at the games. She accessorized her ensemble with a pair of classic gold earrings.
