This year’s rainy Royal Ascot rolled on today, with even more jewels popping up in and around the royal enclosure.

The Queen wore blue and sapphires for the second day in a row. While she reached for a modern brooch yesterday, today she donned one of the most classic pieces from the collection: the Albert Brooch, a diamond and sapphire cluster given to Queen Victoria by Prince Albert as a wedding present in 1840. (More on the brooch here!)

The Duchess of Cornwall also wore blue today, including her magnificent pearl choker necklace with the aquamarine clasp. (More on this necklace, and all her other pearls as well, here!)

The Princess Royal wore deep blue velvet with a blue floral dress, and sapphires were also found in her accessories. Her earrings feature sapphires and pearls, and her golden brooch features colorful gemstones as well. Her pearl choker necklace includes a floral clasp. And there was one more jewelry surprise, as she pinned her golden equestrian brooch to her hat.

On her twentieth wedding anniversary, the Countess of Wessex eschewed the spotlight, preferring to stay in the royal enclosure rather than riding in the carriage procession. She wore modern earrings with the same petite rose brooch she donned on Tuesday.

Princess Michael of Kent did ride in the carriage procession, where we saw her in a pair of floralesque cluster earrings. There’s also a hint of a beaded necklace beneath her scarf.

Beside her in the carriage was another royal relative: Countess Mountbatten of Burma. Penny appears to have worn pearls for her day at the races.
