In April, Letizia made her inaugural public appearance in Queen Ena’s Pearl and Diamond Tiara, wearing it at a state banquet in Madrid in honor of the President of Portugal. (Much more on the event and jewels over here!)

During an October visit from the President of Germany, Letizia reached for another of Queen Ena’s jewels for the first time: the grand pearl necklace from the joyas de pasar collection. (Much more on the necklace over here!)

And in November, Letizia wowed us with her first outing in the Cartier Diamond Loop Tiara, an heirloom from Queen Maria Cristina’s collection. She donned the towering tiara for a state banquet in honor of the President of China. (Much more over here!)
