Kate wore another new set of jewelry: a matching necklace and pair of earrings with milky yellow stones set in gold. Amber is an important local gemstone in Poland, and William and Kate were given a demonstration of the way amber is processed during their visit to Gdansk today. I think it’s very possible that the stones in this matched set are also amber, knowing Kate’s team and their efforts to incorporate local jewelry into her tour ensembles.

Kate also received another piece of jewelry for her collection today. The Mayor of Gdansk presented her with a milky Baltic amber and gold necklace, made by S&A Jewellery. William received a pair of amber cufflinks made by the same firm.
