This week gave us so much royal sparkle that I had to divide our jewel roundup in two — and even then I was spoiled for choice! Here are my favorite evening jewels of the week; there were so many to choose from, though, that lots of great candidates didn’t make the list! Vote for your favorites in the poll below — and let us know in the comments which pieces you’d add to your top ten! (Your list might be completely different from mine!)

1. Although it’s tough to see in most photographs from Tuesday’s dinner, my top vote of the week goes to Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, who wore Queen Maud’s Vifte Tiara as a diadem for the first time. She was innovative in the tiny tiara’s placement, using it as a diamond comb to achieve an understated halo effect. (More here!)
