Holiday Wishlist: Mouawad
Founded in Beirut more than a century ago, Mouawad is currently being run by a fourth generation of the family whose name the company bears. With headquarters in Switzerland and Dubai, Mouawad makes sparkling jewels and timepieces for luxury clients, including the Duchess of Cambridge, who has a diamond and ruby demi-parure from the brand. Here are five of my favorite pieces from the company’s current collections…
The Larme D’Amour Earrings feature dreamy pavĂ©-set blue sapphires and diamonds in white gold. (Price by appointment)
The Rosette Brooch is vividly floral, but there’s also something delightfully flamingo-esque about its combination of rubies and diamonds. (Price by appointment)
The Lava Necklace‘s pairing of citrines with white and black diamonds is so unusual and innovative. (Price by appointment)
With its mixed metals and use of peridots, tsavorites, black sapphires, and diamonds, the Papillon Ring is both elegant and fresh enough for spring. (Price by appointment)
The sapphire and diamond Rosette Bracelet looks ready to hop straight out of Mouawad’s jewelry cases and into the Duchess of Cambridge’s jewelry box, no? (Price by appointment)
Which of Mouawad’s pieces has you salivating?
