An especially timely holiday wishlist today, as the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing earrings from this designer as we speak…
The Duchess of Cambridge wears Kiki McDonough earrings today in New York
Holiday Wishlist: Kiki McDonough
When the Duchess of Cambridge starts wearing your jewelry, you know you’re going to hit the big time. Prince William has reportedly gifted pieces of Kiki McDonough’s jewelry to his wife, who favors the brand’s earrings. McDonough has been creating jewelry for twenty-five years, and her designs feature classic lines and bright colors. Here are five of my favorite pieces from her current collections…
I cannot get enough of the deep orange hue of the Kiki Classic Fire Opal and Diamond Cushion Drop Earrings. And even better, the diamond hoops can be worn separately or with other drops, too! (£2,900)
What’s better than a classic, simple gold bangle bracelet? One studded with semi-precious gemstones, of course. The Eternal Blue Topaz and Peridot Bangle combines two of my favorites, including my December birthstone! (£1,400)
There’s something delightfully medieval about the Citrine Opera Pendant, which wraps a band of gem-studded gold around a faceted citrine pendant drop. (£2,500)
Kate wears the heck out of her green amethyst Kiki earrings, and it’s easy to see why. I love the gemstone fitted into the Grace Green Amethyst Cushion Ring — it’s somehow both classic and surprising. (£2,900)
Royal purple and ringed with diamonds, the Amethyst Pear and Oval Drop Earrings are absolutely fit for a princess. (£3,900)
Which pieces from Kiki McDonough’s collections would look best in your jewelry box?
